Recce Shots

These our the recce shots we have taken from the set up of our shoots, we have images from learning the dance routine and practicing with the lights and performers and the set up of using the green screen and the equipment.

Here is one of my images from a dance rehearsals. Bronte my working partner learnt the dancers the routine and I filmed some test footage and recorded it in imagery to make sure we liked what was coming from the test footage before going straight ahead with it. We organised four practices to ensure they had the moves learnt well enough for the dance section of our song.
Here is an image of the dancers learning the routine in the dance studio with the lights on , As well as making sure this looked professional and effective we had o test this so the dancers where familiar with the heat that the lights produced so they could work in these conditions.
We also did test shots in the green screen to familiarise ourselves with the equipment, to ensure that we got the best possible outcome from working in here.
We had to set up the camera and position Jenny between he camera and the screen and reduce the green haze that occurred around her body and to also make sure the costumes we wanted her to wear was appropriate colours for the green screen as anything with a green tone was not suitable.
This is the camera we used to film with in the green screen, I had to learn how to set up the camera and also to use and control it as it is mounted on wheels  to allow moving shots.
Here is an image of the recoding studio from the green screen looking on , this would be Jenny's view of the studio.
We used additional lighting in the studio to make sure that Jenny was enhanced with light so she did not fade into any of the backgrounds that we used for the screen.
Here is an image of the computer equipment that we used to control which background we had on the screen and also to connect the camera up to capture our recordings.
