Here is a before and after image of the Photo that I have used to make the image for the Magazine advert. I used the photoshop tutorial to edit this image adding a retro theme. I made it lighter to make it more vibrant and eye catching. I also enhanced Jenny's eyes and lips so the stand out and attract the audience. I added a camera flare for a celebrity style feel showing Jenny is special and famous. The colours are enhanced and made to look rich to grab people's attention and make it pleasing to look at. Overall we are happy with this image as a magazine advert, especially after editing. The location for this shoot helps make this image more interesting at stylistic towards our chosen theme. 

Rough Cut 3

As you can see within this third rough cut we have filled in a lot of the blank spaces with footage from the studio and the dinner, keeping some of the shots short and snappy to help portray a 50's pop theme. The quality in this clip has been lost when exporting this is something we will take note of when we export our final video.

Rough Cut 2

Here is our second rough cut, as you can see the dinner scenes have started to be incorporated within the video making it more interesting just from a change in scenery. I adjusted the ratios on the clips to make sure they where all the right proportion and there was no jumps in the video. Also I have experimented with adding a fast pace to some of the clips and overlaying them to make it more visually exciting to the audience . This was a simple technique but it has worked very effectively making it entertaining. There is still a lot of blank space through the video so we decided to use more of our personal time to add more footage to the final video.    

Draft Magazive Advert

This is our first draft for the Magazine advert. I have included all the typical conventions to a magazine advert for example the record label, official website address, scan logo, Artist name, album name, song title and a appealing image of he artist to attract the audience, I have used colours from the image to apply colour the the text to see if it works or not as a draft look , I know I can make changes on this from the peer feed back we received from the class about our products. As there is so much colour going on in the original image I added a black boarder around the image to frame the artist in making a bolder impact to the audience that she is the focus.
